Characteristics Machir Bay is the flagship of the Kilchoman distillery series. It takes its name from the famous Machir Bay beach on Islay, located near the distillery. Machir Bay is a single malt aged in a complex combination of Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. This gives it a beautiful balance of vanilla, smoky Butterscotch and fruit.
