Scotch whisky Islay 9th edition 50% 70cl Kilchoman

Characteristics The 9th Edition of Kilchoman's annual 100% Islay release. This particular expression comes from barley crops in 2007 and 2009 from Islay. This release was matured exclusively in American ex bourbon oak barrels for nine years before being bottled at 50% ABV to give us 12,000 bottles. As with all 100% Islay releases, it has only 20 ppm of peat compared to Kilchoman's usual 50 ppm, allowing the tropical notes from the barrel to emerge.
