To maintain the quality and fresh taste, Del Prete fresh Gnocchi are made from selected potatoes made from 100% durum flour, semolina and egg yolk - they are pasteurized, packaged and sterilized, thus avoiding the use of preservatives. Gnocchi is a traditional Italian pasta in the form of small, fluffy balls. They are very soft, light and "spongy", like little pillows that melt in the mouth. They go well with tomato sauce, basil pesto, melted butter with sage or rich cheese sauces, such as gorgonzola.
